History and Purpose
In 1950, six avid boaters got together to form the Olympia Outboard Club (OOC). Since then, the club has grown into thriving, fun-loving community of outdoor enthusiasts.
The OOC serves its members with access to its one-of-a-kind location on picturesque Steamboat Island.
Amenities include:
- 150 feet of seasonal dock access
- Camping
- Swimming
- Kayaking
- 1 dozen free oysters per month
- Fire pit
- Outdoor kitchen
- Event space
- Active, vibrant community!

Membership
Our membership has a limit of 50 regular members and 5 Associate members. We are a non-profit organization with occasional fundraisers.
The club has a calendar of events that members chair and participate in each year.

Facilities
- The property has 6 camping areas with power and plenty of tent sites
- Upper meeting room has a wood stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and seats 30 guests
- Outdoor beach kitchen with fridge, covered food prep area and seating
- Restrooms with showers
- The property is fully fenced with stairs to the lower beach
- We also grow our own oysters for year round enjoyment
